I am a native Ohioan and Graduate of the University of Kentucky's School of Interior Design. I now focus my design eye working in the lighting industry as a technical design specialist. But everyone needs their creative outlet and this is what my photography offers me!
I enjoy spending my weekends on Norris Lake in Tennessee when we're not somewhere on a baseball field with our 9 and 5 year old sons. Never would my high-school color guard/band kid -self have imagined I would be a baseball mom. But here I am, loving EVERY SECOND OF IT. So much so, that baseball photography has become a whole new area of exploration for me, along with children, families, maternity, and the occasional wedding. I do work around my kids sports right now, so my schedule has tightened up a bit as I don't want to miss a moment of this time in their lives
A quick summary of me in a nut-shell:
-Lake dweller
-If I was stuck on a deserted island, I am pretty sure I could survive on coffee and buffalo dip.
-my grandma is my hero (she is 80 and has more energy and strength than anyone I know)
-Bring on the buffalo-chicken dip.
-I hate cleaning my house, but I also hate when it's a mess.
-I am never tired of Marvel movies (Guardians of the Galaxy... anytime). I was sooo destined to have boys.
-Interior design Degree... means I can't make up my own mind about my own home. Fine to help anyone else.
*Thanks to my friend Cyrissa and Immerse Photography for the fun shot of my family from several years ago! I need to get an update!
